ProBlendzone blender is designed for blending or homogenizing free-flowing bulk material within a hopper or silo, allowing different zones of material to discharge at different rates. Blender’s internal flow baffles are optimized for efficient blending in a variety of industrial applications, reducing the likelihood of bridging or ratholing with many materials. Zone blender has a simple and compact design, with no moving parts, and uses a combination of mass flow (first in/first out) and funnel flow (first in/last out) to help homogenize blends and reduce the effect of segregation in recirculating, batch or continuous systems or any blending application. Zone blender can be used for mixtures of many ingredients and is frequently employed by compounders, recyclers, food industry processors and others requiring a uniform blend of materials at the use point. Unit is suitable for use in silos or hoppers with diameters from 1.2 to 3.6 meters (4 to 12 feet).
