GB SERIES BALL VALVE  

Swagelok recently announced the release of the full-bore, bidirectional flow-capable GB series ball valve. The new valve is engineered to provide high flow rates at a working pressure of 6,000 psig (413 bar) while simplifying installation, minimizing rework requirements and delivering the reliable shutoff performance needed to keep workers safe and systems operating efficiently in a variety of demanding applications. The GB series ball valve can be widely deployed as a general-purpose ball valve. Examples of ideal applications for the valve include hydraulic, injection and fire suppression systems in the oil and gas industry and isolation in highly corrosive alkylation operations in the chemical and petrochemical industry. When combined with Swagelok’s broad range of tube fittings, tubing and instrument valves, the new ball valve enables customers to build a complete 6,000 psig-rated fluid system with tubing diameters up to one inch using all Swagelok components.

PUR-GARD BEARING ISOLATORS 

PUR-GARD bearing isolators from Garlock offer the ultimate sealing solution for rotating equipment in the food processing industry and other industrial applications. They combine improved safety and overall process purity with cost savings through extended equipment and bearing life. The patented IP66 design provides bearing protection even in the most challenging environments, thereby extending the life of rotating equipment. Additionally, the non-contact design reduces shaft drag and energy consumption, providing more savings and improved efficiency. In the crucial installation process, the unitized construction of PUR-GARD will not come apart. It also does not require an arbor press, making installation faster and easier. STL-5 BARRIER FLUID 

Specifically for mechanical seal lubrication, STL-5 Barrier Fluid has no detergents or heavy metals. It meets most barrier and buffer fluid needs within chemical, petrochemical, pipeline, refinery and ethanol and other biofuel production. It is also FDA-compliant. Its additives provide a nonreactive stable fluid for seal service across a wide temperature range. The maximum temperature is 460°F. The specific gravity is 0.827. Available in 5-gallon containers.

DRY MATERIAL FEEDER 

The MechaTron dry material feeder has all the unique design features that manufacturers require for their processing applications. Complete disassembly from the non-process side of the feeder eliminates the need to remove upper extension hoppers, bins, bulk bags and IBC’s to clean or maintain the feeder.  Flexible or all-stainless-steel hoppers are available to accommodate any unique dry material feeding application. MechaTron feeders are perfectly suited to handle a wide range of volumetric or gravimetric feeding applications for bulk solid materials.
