Lontra has manufactured its first LP2 Blade Blower, marking the ramp-up in production for the wastewater and pneumatic conveying markets.
The LP2 Blade Blower is the first commercially available blower redesign in 85 years, resolving some of the problems associated with conventional blower design. It is energy-efficient and reliable, with independent testing demonstrating energy savings of up to 34 percent compared to commercial equivalents.

The exclusive blade design of this technology allows air to rotate constantly through the compression chamber, with minimum air leakage and high air discharge efficiency.
This has been integrated together with Lontra’s additional energy efficient technologies — the WEG ultra-premium permanent magnet motor, the Yaskawa VSD inverter and our unique pressure drop reducing silencers — brought together into our LP2 Blade Blower power-saving unit.
Lontra’s low pressure LP2 Blade Blower is robustly designed for high performance and continuous operation, even in extreme and challenging conditions, ensuring a consistent supply of compressed air. Intensive testing and analysis have demonstrated results of more than 80,000 operating hours without the need for repairs.
