Blendcon air blender is a fast, efficient blender for mixing batches from 5 cubic feet to over 4,000 cubic feet of dry bulk materials. Blender requires no moving parts to displace the material in the mixing process. Instead of shafts, paddles or agitators, the unit pulses compressed air into the material in an upward circular pattern to lift, turn, and tumble dry materials. Blendcon air blender is especially effective for abrasive blends such as glass batch, tile grout and concrete mixes. Since the process area is a cone-bottomed vessel, the air blender empties nearly 100%, making cleanup easy. Because the blending method is so effective, very few pulses of air are required to complete the blending cycle. The ratio of horsepower to blended material is very low, resulting in high energy efficiency.
