GEMCO has introduced a new human-machine interface (HMI) control system for its PortaHopper portable tumble mixer. The new control system features a user-friendly touchscreen interface that unlocks advanced features and functionalities. The HMI is a typical upgrade to the PortaHopper control system, and the standard offering is a 10-inch touchscreen that enables many additional features, including recipe management; batch records; data trending, such as motor or agitator power trend curves, vessel speed, etc.; and up to five different user login levels with various access rights to prevent unauthorized changes to the system.
