K-State Olathe course tackles bulk solids flow problems
K-State Olathe will host Reliable Flow from Hoppers, a two-day short course focused on helping engineers, technicians and operations professionals solve bulk solids flow challenges in industrial systems.
Scheduled for Sept. 22-23, 2026, the course will provide hands-on training on how bulk materials behave inside hoppers, the design factors that influence discharge performance and methods for diagnosing flow problems.
The program is designed for professionals who work with bulk solids processing equipment, material handling systems and production operations where reliable material flow is critical.
Participants will learn approaches for identifying potential flow issues and applying practical solutions to improve hopper performance and reduce production disruptions.
The course will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at K-State Olathe. Registration is $1,300.
