thermal flowmeter

Fluid Components International (FCI)’s ST100 Series Thermal Flow Meter features repeatability in measuring NH3 under harsh operating conditions. It has a standard wide flow turndown ratio of 100:1 (up to 1000:1 based on application), and the ability to measure mass flow, instead of volumetric flow. The ST100 Meter can be factory calibrated to measure almost any popular process gas as well as mixed gases. The technology is suitable for use in wet and dirty gas applications, having no small ports prone to fouling. The basic insertion-style air/gas meter features a thermal flow sensing element that measures flow from 0.25 up to 1000 SFPS with accuracy of ±0.75% of reading, ±0.5% of full scale. Whether the output required is 4-20 mA analog, frequency/pulse or advanced bus communications, the ST100 Series meets integration needs.

ultrasonic flowmeter

FLEXIM’S FLUXUS F/G831 is a new ultrasonic system that measures liquids, gases and steam and is approved for operation in ATEX/IECEx Zone 1. The flow measurement is carried out nonintrusively with ultrasonic transducers mounted on the outside of the pipe. FLUXUS F/G831 has two intrinsically safe (Ex-ia) process inputs for connecting pressure and temperature sensors. This allows the transmitter to directly determine the output mass flow or standard volumetric flow rate. Inside the hermetically sealed enclosure, a digital signal processor ensures the highest measurement performance. The integrated disturbance correction ensures good measuring accuracy even at unfavorable measuring points. The high-performance processor supports fast switching between two measuring channels. Synchronized channel averaging enables immediate compensation of measured value fluctuations resulting from disturbances of the flow profile due to turbulence or difficult inlet conditions.

gas analyzer

Emerson’s chemiluminescence gas analyzer with new digital communication capabilities enables reliable monitoring of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions. The Rosemount XECLD Process Gas Analyzer leverages the digital architecture of the Rosemount X-STREAM Enhanced (XE) suite of continuous gas analyzers to offer a full range of web-based communication capabilities, including secure, remote connectivity without the installation of additional software. This simplifies access to analyzer health and actionable process information to help operators comply with environmental regulations. Designed for optimum reliability and low cost of ownership, the gas analyzer utilizes chemiluminescence measurement technology with a thermoelectrically cooled, solid-state detector assembly to ensure highly stable measurement performance and a longer operating life. In addition, the analyzer eliminates vacuum pumps often used in chemiluminescent instruments, significantly reducing a potential source of vibration.
