Another major processing industry event has been postponed.

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) on Friday announced it was rescheduling its upcoming May 2020 show in Houston due to the COVID-19 pandemic. OTC joins INTERPHEX and The International Powder and Bulk Solids Conference & Exhibition as industry events that have been postponed or rescheduled due to concerns over COVID-19.

OTC organizers said the show, which was originally scheduled to take place May 4-7, will be rescheduled for the third quarter of 2020. OTC added that it is actively working to confirm potential dates in August or September.

According to an OTC news release, show organizers will be "communicating with authors, speakers, exhibitors and partners to develop the new plans and ensure the conference continues to provide a platform for energy professionals to meet and exchange ideas."

OTC said more information will be communicated as plans are finalized.
