The Bella dryer/cooler offers a highly efficient method for drying or cooling powders, granulates and filter cakes. Dryer can be used for drying, mixing, spraying, agglomerating and cooling in the same unit without additional equipment or costs. Operation is efficient because air flows around material while it is suspended in the mixer’s weightless zone, maximizing the material surface area exposed to the air. Drying process goes through an adiabatic evaporation with thermal efficiency at about 80%. System requires small air volumes compared with other fluidizing dryers. System’s mixing paddles provide gentle agitation to produce a desirable finished material that is consistent in texture, moisture and particle size.
