A 20-year-old engineer suffered chemical burns Tuesday in an industrial accident at the GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) plant in Montrose, Scotland, The Courier reported.
Emergency crews reponded to the scene around 3:45 p.m. and rushed the injured man to a hospital.

According to GlaxoSmithKline, the engineer was performing routine maintenance when the accident occured.
“Following a minor incident on Tuesday afternoon, an engineer who was carrying out routine maintenance work on a plant at GSK’s Montrose site was, as a precautionary measure, taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee," a GlaxoSmithKline spokesman said. “Tayside Fire and Rescue, who attended at the site quickly, scaled it down to a minor incident.”
