Metal detector checkweigher combination is a fully integrated metal detector and weighing unit. Unit uses electromagnetic force restoration technology (EMFR) instead of traditional strain gauges, which provides better accuracy than other units on the market. Unit’s single operator interface is user friendly and easy to operate. System first inspects package for metal, automatically rejecting units where metal is detected without slowing down the line. System then checks packages for accurate weight and rejects over- or underweight items. System is suitable for food, pet food, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical products.
