The innovative Pneumatic Actuator and Positioner offers a pneumatic valve pack with a lifetime as long as the entire piping system. Designed for multiple industries, including chemical processing, both innovations' highly chemical-resistant material is ideal for use in applications that support hazardous media.

The lightweight, non-corrosive, plastic Pneumatic Actuator type PPA, made from glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF), offers optimal application fit for high chemical resistance, covering the whole ball valve range from DN10/15 (½-inch) to DN 100 (4-inches). All possible valve and actuator combinations have passed significant testing under extreme environmental conditions to ensure a reliable torque performance on the ball valve.
The PPA is available in two versions: compact double-acting or spring-loaded fail-safe open and fail-safe close. The spring technology adds application flexibility at the 4.2 bar standard range. A new feature is the integrated NAMUR interface for pilot valves, allowing decentralized supply and eliminating the need for special adapters. The Pneumatic Actuator achieves a minimum of 250,000 cycles and works smoothly even after long periods without operation.
The Positioner offers an optimized application range for GF linear stroke (DIASTAR), rotary actuators (PPA & its predecessor PA), and the following functionality expansion options: on/off switch, display, PID controller, analog position feedback, LED feedback. The compact design of the positioner and plastic adapter allows lower installation setup height. It is UL compliant. Both new products are now available in several sizes.
