Beumer Group celebrates 90 years of growth anchored in long-term strategy
Beumer Group marked its 90th anniversary by reporting the strongest business performance in its history. According to the company, order intake reached 1.39 billion euros in 2024 and global revenue increased to 1.23 billion euros, supported by a workforce of 5,700 employees. The intralogistics provider attributes the results to a long-term strategy focused on sustainable growth rather than short-term market cycles.
The company maintains that its value-driven approach — centered on reliability, collaboration, and stable customer relationships — continues to guide operational decisions and investment priorities. Beumer Group expects order intake to rise again for the 2025 financial year.
Innovation remains a central element of the company’s growth plan. Beumer Group expanded its digital capabilities in 2024 by integrating Codept and Elara, two ventures developed through the company’s internal incubator, BEAM. Its BG.evolution unit in Dortmund is also developing digital tools in collaboration with universities and research institutions. Alongside these initiatives, the company’s Innovation and Development department targets at least one major new product or technology advancement each year.
Beumer Group notes that its global presence contributes to resilience in a volatile economy. Since its founding in 1935, the company has grown into an international provider of intralogistics systems with around 40 operating entities. Its expansion has included the integration of businesses such as Crisplant in Denmark, Enexco in India, and FAM in Magdeburg.
Chairman of the Advisory Board Dr. Christoph Beumer said the company’s long-term outlook shapes its operational strategy and supports its position in the market. Chief Executive Officer Rudolf Hausladen added that the company’s focus on innovation, diversity, and collaborative relationships remains essential to its future development.
