Seydelmann acquires 50% stake in American Food Equipment Company
American Food Equipment Company (AMFEC) announced that Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG has acquired a 50% ownership stake in the company, expanding their long-standing partnership to strengthen semi-automated and fully automated food production line solutions for manufacturers in North America.
According to AMFEC, the investment is intended to expand collaboration and joint activities focused on integrated food production systems. AMFEC will continue manufacturing its food processing equipment at its facility in Caldwell, Idaho.
The companies have worked together for decades on customer projects involving technical and engineering collaboration. The new ownership structure is designed to combine AMFEC's expertise in mixing and conveying technology with Seydelmann's capabilities in food processing equipment, mechanical engineering, and production line integration.
According to AMFEC, the expanded partnership will support customers throughout the lifecycle of food processing projects, including planning, commissioning, and long-term service, while advancing automation technologies for the North American food manufacturing industry.
