NSF H1-registered food-grade grease
FUCHS Lubricants Co. spotlights its CASSIDA FM GREASE CSC EP Series. This high performance, NSF H1-registered food-grade grease is designed to keep critical food and beverage processing equipment running reliably where incidental food contact is a concern. Formulated with a calcium sulfonate complex thickener and white mineral oils, the series delivers lubrication performance, protection, and reliability that support both productivity and compliance.
CASSIDA FM GREASE CSC EP 1 and 2 provide robust mechanical stability in both dry and wet conditions, showing minimal consistency change in roll stability and modified roll stability tests. This stability helps the grease stay in place, maintain its structure, and protect components under continuous mechanical stress and water exposure. Excellent tackiness and resistance to water spray-off make it well suited for environments with frequent high-pressure washdowns that can otherwise strip lubricant from exposed components.
The series offers a wide operating temperature window, resisting oil bleed and maintaining structural integrity at elevated temperatures due to its high dropping point, while also maintaining high mobility at temperatures as low as -20°C (-4°F) for use in cold storage and refrigerated areas. This allows maintenance teams to standardize on a single food-grade grease across hot, ambient, and cold sections of their facilities, simplifying inventory and relubrication practices.
To protect heavily loaded components, CASSIDA FM GREASE CSC EP delivers extreme pressure and antiwear performance, including a high 4-ball weld load and low friction with minimal wear scar. These properties help extend bearing life, reduce wear-related failures, and minimize unplanned downtime on assets such as conveyors, mixers, and pumps operating under high loads or at high speeds, supporting longer maintenance intervals and reduced grease consumption.
CASSIDA FM GREASE CSC EP is suitable for roller and plain bearings, mechanical linkages, electric motor bearings, pump shafts, and centralized lubrication systems. The NLGI 2 grade is particularly effective in high-temperature, steam-laden, or high-speed applications, while NLGI 1 is optimized for automated and centralized systems where reliable pumpability is essential. The series is NSF H1 registered and Kosher and Halal certified.
