Tri-Mer expands dust collection options with bag filter line

Tri-Mer Corporation, a manufacturer of wet and dry dust collection systems, has launched a new line of industrial bag filters designed for gas volumes ranging from 588 to 880,000 actual cubic feet per minute (acfm). The filters are engineered to accommodate a wide variety of dust types, loadings, and flow ranges, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications.

The bag filter elements feature a fabric bag supported by a cage, which is mounted from the clean gas side. Elements fit precisely into the housing, creating a secure seal without screws. Incoming gas flows from the outside to the inside of the textile filter, capturing particulate on the surface, while distributing cleaning energy evenly across the entire filter area.

Tri-Mer bag filters are designed to minimize mechanical stress on the filter fabric, contributing to extended service life. Available material options include PTFE, PTFE membrane, polyester needlefelt, Nomex, acrylic felt, fiberglass, and Aramid felt.

The vertical, circular design accommodates filter lengths of up to 30 feet and includes split cages for easier handling where required. For applications with higher dust loadings, pre-separation cambers can be added to further enhance performance.
